Project Overview:

Stay Central is a property-management platform for small hotels, guest houses, and apartments. It brings bookings, pricing, housekeeping, and owner reporting into one clean interface. I led the product discovery, UX/UI design, and frontend development focusing on clarity, speed, and measurable outcomes for non-technical property owners.

Objectives:

1. Reduce booking friction and increase completion rate across web and mobile.
2. Provide a reliable, real-time view of occupancy, revenue, and housekeeping status.
3. Build an extensible design system to ship features faster and keep the UI consistent.

Scope of Work:

• User interviews, journey mapping, and analytics review to identify drop-offs.
• Information architecture for Owners, Managers, and Staff roles (RBAC).
• UX flows and wireframes for Reservations, Calendar, Housekeeping, and Reports.
• High-fidelity UI in Figma; component tokens and guidelines for a design system.
• Front-end build with React, Tailwind, ShadCN; state and API integration.
• Charting for KPIs (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, cancellation rate, channel mix).
• AI assistant (marketing & performance): prompt library, reporting summaries.
• Usability testing, accessibility pass (WCAG 2.2 AA), performance tuning.
• Handoff docs, release notes, and iteration plan.
